  • Sweatshirt/fleece top and windbreaker/rain jacket
  • Daypack rucksack
  • Sleeping bag
  • Warm hat
  • Sun hat
  • Working gloves
  • Changes of casual clothes for evenings
  • Underwear and socks
  • 2x bath towels and swimming towel
  • Toiletries
  • Binoculars
  • Sunscreen
  • Sufficient supply personal medication as required
  • Torch and water bottle
  • Camera and spare batteries for all electronic equipment
  • Reference books and note books
  • Hair dryer
  • International plug adaptors (adaptors at the facility will fit UK plugs)
  • Games, playing cards, CD/DVD
  • Please ensure that all your batteries are rechargeable as Zimbabwe has no means of recycling used lithium batteries, currently a major environmental hazard in this high risk wildlife zone

Please note that it is illegal for civilians, including visitors to the country, to wear any form of camouflage-type clothing.

Only members of the military are permitted to wear this clothing. Do not bring any items of clothing of this nature
